Epic Systems Sued by Particle Health for Access to Data and Records

Epic Systems Corp. is facing an antitrust lawsuit that accuses the software giant of monopolizing the electronic health records market and preventing a rival from competing.

Particle Health Inc., a patient-focused healthcare platform founded in 2018, accuses Epic of violating federal antitrust law by cutting off access to Particle customers’ data and stoking security concerns, according to a Monday complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
