Applications are open through October 25 for the Startup Arena event at the Detroit Auto Show during Industry Days, which will be held January 15-16 at Huntington Place in downtown Detroit.

The Startup Arena will be located on the grounds of the AutoMobili-D technology exhibition, which has been running for seven years and showcases the latest mobility innovations from global companies as well as the startup community.

According to show organizers, AutoMobili-D and the Startup Arena will serve as the backdrop for the returning Mobility Global Forum, a two-day symposium dedicated to leading ideas that will bring together industry pioneers, mobility innovators and technology innovators.

During Industry Days there will be exclusive access hours for industry representatives and media to the exhibition hall.

Startups interested in participating in Startup Arena are encouraged to visit the website and submit an application at detroitautoshow.com. To be considered, a startup must meet certain criteria, including revenues of less than $10 million, fewer than 100 employees, investment thresholds and length of operation.

Exhibiting opportunities are limited and applications must be submitted by October. Startups selected to participate will be notified in November.

The entire 2025 Detroit Auto Show will begin on January 10 and run through Monday, January 20, Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
