US to ban car tech from China over safety concerns

US vs. China on Cars

This isn’t the first time the U.S. vs. China business world has been blunt, especially when it comes to cars. Whether it’s mitigating national security concerns or favoring American manufacturers on the road, the Biden administration has taken more than a few steps to stymie China’s efforts.

The U.S. has raised tariffs on electric cars and electric car batteries from China, making it harder to sell them in the U.S. at a reasonable price. Authorities have even banned the import of cargo cranes made in China, making it clear that the U.S. does not want China doing business in the country.

Suffice it to say that tensions between the US and China are unlikely to abate anytime soon, and the US will do everything in its power to slow China down. But with this country overtaking the US in artificial intelligence AND Electric carsIt is safe to say that these bans are just the beginning.
