Having trouble meditating? You’re not alone. Almost 96% of people have thought about meditating but haven’t done it — and of the few who have, 70% don’t think they’re doing it correctly.

The Happier app is where meditation meets you where you are. Meditation is not a quick fix; it’s a messy, imperfect journey that can change your life.

September 10 Ten Percent Happier has evolved into Happier, a meditation and mindfulness app designed to meet you where you are. With over 500 meditations from the world’s best teachers, their app is personalized to what’s going on in your life. The Happier app focuses on progress, not perfection. Check in with the app each month to create a personalized meditation plan around your goals and needs. With Happier, it’s easy to experience a meditation app that adapts to your real life, helping you get more from your meditation and give more to your life.

On September 10, the Ten Percent Happier app was rebranded as Happier: a new app experience designed to challenge the unrealistic expectations set by the meditation industry (including the previous version of Ten Percent Happier) and truly respond to users’ needs—with a more personalized approach that adapts over time.

The new version of the Happier app includes new features to help you run your practice, including:

Monthly severance payments: These new check-ins help people reflect and reset their intentions by setting four goals: Take a Break, Ebb, Flow, and Focused Flow to show their progress toward their goals over the course of the month.

AI-powered recommendations: Happier creates a monthly content plan and now offers personalized, AI-powered recommendations in a mobile-friendly, scrollable format.

Mindfulness while traveling: These new practice methods don’t require the user to sit down and meditate if time is limited. Instead, they offer a mix of familiar and new practices, making it easy to fit mindfulness into any time of day.

Personalized plans: The app creates personalized plans that change as you set goals and track your progress.

Flexible options: The app offers focus exercises to suit different schedules and moods, whether you have five minutes or 50.

Accept imperfection: The app encourages you to experience the journey with all its ups and downs.

Expert content: In the app you will find content from internationally renowned teachers who regularly share new content.

Search by topic: You may seek meditations on topics that worry you, such as “parenting,” “anger,” or “money.”

Search by teacher: You can search for meditations by teacher.

Meditations in Motion: The app offers walking meditations, such as “Natural Walking Meditation.”

The app is available on the App Store and Google Play. It has two levels of access: free and subscription. Subscription options are annual for $99.99 per year or monthly for $14.99 per month.
