Thompson RCMP looking for missing woman

Thompson police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 44-year-old woman.

According to the RCMP, Carmen Chastelaine was reported missing by her family after they had not heard from her for an “extended period of time.”

Officers say they searched Thompson and the surrounding area, as well as checking with family, friends and places Chastelaine frequently visits.

Investigators say they currently believe Chastelaine may be in Winnipeg.

She is described as five feet six inches tall, weighs approximately 185 pounds, has short brown hair. She has a tattoo of “Billy” on her neck.

Anyone who has seen Chastelaine or has information about her whereabouts is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
