Ibex: Strong fundamentals, margin improvement make stock worth buying (NASDAQ:IBEX)

Deep Value Investing profile picture

Small, deep individual investor, with a modest personal investment portfolio split roughly 50%-50% between stocks and call options. I have a BS in Aerospace Engineering and over 6 years of experience as an engineering consultant in the aerospace sector. That last bit has nothing to do with my investment style, but I thought I’d add it for my own purposes. I have a different investment style, high risk, and often deal with illiquid options. How illiquid? Well, you could land a Jumbo on the spread and still be allowed to take off. I occasionally buy stocks, mostly so that my fellow investors don’t label me a degenerate, hence the 50%-50% allocation. My time frame is usually 3-24 months. I’m a practitioner (sub-blue collar type), not someone who theorizes with no real interest in the game. At the time of writing, I own stocks or options on all of the stocks I rate as Strong Buys. I like stocks that have recently sold off due to irregular events, especially when insiders buy shares at a new low price. I often screen thousands of stocks this way, mostly in the US, although I may own stocks in banana republics. I use fundamental analysis to check the health of the companies that pass through my screening process, their financial leverage, and then compare their financials to the sector and the median and industry average. I also conduct professional background checks on any insiders who bought shares after the recent sell-off. I use technical analysis to optimize entry and exit points for my positions. I primarily use multi-colored lines for support and resistance levels on weekly charts. Occasionally I draw trend lines, taken for granted, in multi-colored patterns. Note: I have tried to make my introduction as real and authentic as possible. I dislike empty suits, high- and low-level nonsense, unnecessary jargon, and self-aggrandizing, third-person introductions that have an air of superiority. Thanks for reading my introduction!
