According to the statement, in accordance with the Law on Administrative Penalties and the Law Against Unfair Competition, it is proposed to confiscate Sanzhiyang’s illegal profits and impose a fine in the total amount of 68.9 million yuan ($9.8 million).

In response to issues identified during the livestreamed sale, the company was ordered to suspend operations for a specified period of time to rectify the defects and face appropriate legal liabilities.
