Former CBA banker Jon Waldron convicted of bribery

Former Commonwealth Bank chief technology officer Jon Waldron was sentenced to prison on Friday after being convicted in May of taking bribes to secure an IT services contract for a US software company.

New South Wales District Court Judge Phillip Mahony sentenced him to a maximum of six years and eight months in prison. He will hold this position for at least four years.
