Vendors for the National Peanut Festival have been announced

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) – The National Peanut Festival has announced the return of its annual Taste of the Festival Local Food Vendor Competition, which will run from November 1-8, 2020.4.

Festival attendees will have the opportunity to sample the best local culinary delights and vote for their favorite dishes via the official National Peanut Festival app.

The competition allows local food vendors to showcase their most creative and delicious offerings, with participants selecting the best products in two categories: Appetizer and Dessert/Snack.

Last year’s event saw some fierce competition, with the Krewe of Kolosse taking top honors in both categories for their delicious crawfish Mac & Cheese and delectable Beignet sticks.

Festival attendees can only cast their votes via the National Peanut Festival app, which can be downloaded in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The winners will be announced on November 9, 2024 during a special ceremony at the festival.

This year’s food vendors promise a wide range of flavors and cuisines, from traditional favorites to innovative new creations. The supplier offer for 2024 includes:
