Minidoka County is testing election software

RUPERT, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Minidoka County is planning a test of its election software in preparation for Election Day.

According to Minidoka County, the Minidoka County Elections Office will conduct a pre-election public logic and accuracy test on October 11 at 10 a.m. to prepare for the 2024 presidential election.

The test will be held at the office at 715 G St., according to the county. in Rupert. Ensures that ballots are correctly read and tabulated by election software.

According to the county, officials will secure the tabulators and election software by Election Day, Nov. 5. They invite the public and media to observe the test.
