Garfield: Critical Failure is the most popular movie on Netflix

According to the platform’s public ranking system, “The Garfield Movie” is currently the most popular movie on Netflix.

In this animated comedy, the iconic comic book cat is voiced by Chris Pratt, alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Hannah Waddingham, Ving Rhames, Nicholas Hoult, Cecily Strong, Harvey Guillén, Brett Goldstein, Bowen Yang and Snoop Dogg. Despite the star cast, the film received mostly negative reviews.

After its theatrical premiere in May, “The Garfield Movie” appeared on Netflix on September 21. The plot centers around Garfield’s reunion with his estranged biological father as they embark on an unexpected adventure.

Max’s second most popular video currently is “I Saw the TV Glow.”

Written and directed by Jane Schoenbrun, this psychological horror film follows lonely teenagers whose relationship with a young adult television show begins to distort their understanding of their lives and identities. “I Saw TV Glow” premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January and had its theatrical release in May.

“Dandelion” is now available to stream on AMC+. The drama hit theaters in July after debuting in March on South by Southwest to mostly positive reviews.

“Dandelion,” starring KiKi Layne, centers around a struggling singer-songwriter who agrees to perform in South Dakota, where she meets a guitarist (played by Thomas Doherty) and falls into a whirlwind romance.

The top movie on Hulu right now is “Asphalt City,” a 2023 drama thriller based on Shannon Burke’s 2008 novel “Black Flies.”

Sean Penn and Tye Sheridan star as New York paramedics in this story about the psychological trauma faced by paramedics. The cast also included Michael Pitt, Katherine Waterston, Mike Tyson, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Raquel Nave and Kali Reis.

“Challengers” arrived on Amazon Prime Video on September 19. Directed by Luca Guadagnino, the romantic sports drama follows a love triangle between three elite tennis players.
