Compass Group India plans to double its business every three years

Compass Group India, owned by British multinational food service contracting giant Compass Group PLC, plans to double its business every three years as it sees India as a key growth market.

Recently acquired ICS Foods, Compass Group India is keen on making further acquisitions to strengthen its presence, according to managing director Vikas Chawla. The company’s goal is to expand its food catering services to customers in the manufacturing, education and health sectors, aiming to achieve market share above double digits within five years.

Over the next three years, Compass Group India aims to serve over two million meals a day and expand to over 600 customer locations, strengthening its leadership position in the food and ancillary services sector. The company is also focusing on strategic acquisitions and expects 25-30% of its growth in the next fiscal year to come from these efforts.
