The award is given for the most effective use of technology in achieving key organizational goals and for the way it is integrated with the organization’s systems.

HIAL received the award for introducing software that changed the way training content was delivered at 11 airports.

HIAL began using the system earlier this year and has since produced training and information videos for a number of operational departments.

The system enabled teams at HIAL to produce hands-on training videos at a much faster pace than previously possible, enabling the organization to adapt to learning needs in less time.

This has proven particularly important in helping deliver operational training for teams, as well as providing a broader understanding of the procurement process to suppliers during recent tenders.

Darren MacLeod, director of safety, compliance and security at HIAL, said: “We are thrilled to receive this award.

“The new software has proven to be an extremely valuable tool in building our training content portfolio and provides us with a modern, flexible and effective way to train staff at all our airports.”
