Medical liability insurance

Professional liability insurance for medical workers will be introduced from October. The relevant regulation was signed by the Minister of Health on July 24. Under the new regulations, medical entities will conclude insurance contracts covering the liability of medical staff.

Changes in debt collection companies

On October 1, new rules for the operation of debt collection agencies will come into force. These regulations require agencies to notify debtors within 30 days of acquiring the right to pursue receivables, informing them of their right to request changes to the terms of their obligations.

Increases in train ticket prices

Train ticket prices in Kazakhstan will increase, this applies to 62 out of 140 existing routes. The Ministry of Transport stated that this increase is necessary to renew rolling stock, improve the quality of services and increase employee salaries.

Enterprise support

On October 4, new regulations regarding state support for enterprises will come into force. The government resolution includes solutions regarding interest subsidies on bonds issued by entrepreneurs, guaranteeing loans/financial leasing and providing investment subsidies aimed at increasing the competitiveness of small enterprises.

New exporter rules

From October 3, simplified rules for the reimbursement of expenses to exporters will come into force. The new regulations simplify documentation requirements, introduce new categories of expenses, update the list of goods subject to return and set limits on returns depending on the degree of processing.

New holidays

In October this year, three new holidays will be introduced in Kazakhstan: October 1 will be celebrated as the Day of Higher Education Workers and Radio Day, while October 14 will be celebrated as the Day of Standardization Workers.

Work and school schedule
