Zoe Ball made a heartbreaking confession to Channel 5 legend Jane McDonald during her BBC Radio 2 catch-up appearance.

When Jane was talking about her new book, which deals with the loss of her husband, Zoe told her, “I was just telling you how much reading this book meant to me.

“It made me laugh, it made me cry. It gave me an excuse to cry a little, which we all need.”

This month, Jane released her latest book, Let The Light In, where she shares what she has learned throughout her life.
