Apex Footwear shares are rising on dividend announcement

The Apex Footwear share price is up more than 6% today (October 1), declaring a 35% cash and 10% share dividend for the 2023-24 financial year.

In the first 20-minute trading session, the company’s share price touched Tk 254.30 on the Dhaka Stock Exchange.

As announced by the footwear maker through the Dhaka Stock Exchange, its earnings per share increased by 5.56% to Tk 12.34 in FY2024 compared to the previous year.

The company also announced the date of convening the ordinary general meeting on November 27, and the dividend registration date was set for October 22.
