YouTuber Tana Mongeau shared a photo of her OnlyFans earnings to return the favor to people who asked why she was doing it

I think we all know by now how much money you can make on OnlyFans and this is probably the main reason why the service has become so popular.

YouTuber Tana Mongeau is no different from other success stories as she has showcased the staggering amounts she has earned on the platform.

For those who pretend they’ve never heard of it, OnlyFans sees people paying creators for content, usually pornographic content, for a monthly fee.

This may include X-rated photos or videos, fetish content, and various fan requests for which an additional fee is charged.

Mongeau, 26, who has gained fame both as a YouTuber and on Canceled podcast with Brooke Schofield and has since explained why she signed up.

“If I’m drunk, having a party and wearing a see-through shirt, I might as well make money off it,” a Nevada content creator told The Cut.

“Many men on the Internet sexualized me against my will for so long that I finally thought, ‘Damn, I might as well make a million dollars doing this.'”

And she certainly wasn’t lying about OnlyFans earnings.

In 2020, on Instagram, Mongeau shared a photo of a glass trophy with the words: “Congratulations to the highest earner” and below the impressive figure “$3,000,000.”

Under the entry she wrote: "“Why do you only make fans?” good month." (Instagram/@tanamongeau)

In a 2023 interview with Forbes, Mongeau said: “People will underestimate you as a woman in almost everything, and you will have to climb a little harder than most men.

“But I wanted it and I did it, and I don’t give (redacted) if it’s hard.

“If I were a cookie cutter, I would never have had any success.

“And if I had switched to being a completely safe business woman… I don’t think I would have gotten to the point I’m at.”

However, Mongeau has been involved in several controversies over the years.

Most notably in 2018, when she organized “TanaCon,” a convention in response to her alleged dispute with VidCon, where she was accused of mistreating creators.

TanaCon was an event in California which promised fans a chance to meet their favorite influencers, but ended in chaos.

Thousands of participants were reportedly left outside in the heat for hours without proper accommodation, so the event was canceled on the first day.

In 2020, Mongeau was also criticized for going to parties during the Covid-19 pandemic, despite guidelines.

She apologized for her “careless and irresponsible” decision.

Despite the controversy, Mongeau remains extremely popular on all major social media platforms.
