Dena Jalbert wholeheartedly believes that smaller companies have enormous market value. This belief led her company, Align Business Advisory Services, to complete over $2.5 billion in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions for lower- and middle-market companies. For over 20 years, Dena has worked in the mergers and acquisitions industry, first as a consultant at companies such as Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers, and then as CFO at companies that eventually moved to companies such as Google, Hewlett Packard and Bank of America . . She founded Align with a mission to break the mold of the traditional M&A advisory firm by providing the highest quality services and building an industry-leading network of potential buyers and investors.

Dena prides itself on its ability to combine business operations with capital financing, which provides its clients with market-beating results. Dena has been recognized as a Rising Star in M&A by The M&A Advisor and one of the Top 50 Women in Mid-Market M&A by Mergers & Acquisitions Magazine. She graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a CPA degree, then moved to Florida to work and pursue a master’s degree in business administration at Florida State University. She and her husband live in Winter Park and have two young daughters, Olivia and Whitney.
