Harry Potter star Emma Watson studies while she earns, and the actress-turned-MFA student takes home huge earnings

And the Harry Potter star, who is currently studying an MA in Creative Writing at Oxford University, has added to her acting fortune.

The actress earned £1.9 million from Hestia Hebe, a private company to which she transfers her earnings.

Emma, ​​34, who played Hermione Granger in the series, reports cumulative earnings of £23.9 million for 2023.

In May 2023, Emma was included in the list of the richest people under 35, ranking 24th with a fortune worth £60 million.

The star earned £50 million from her role as Hermione in the Harry Potter series, then earned another £15 million from Beauty and the Beast.

She has also raised over £23 million through her investment company Hestia Hebe – named after the Greek goddesses of hearth, home and family and youth.

The star also founded Renais Gin, a super premium gin, which she launched with her brother Alex in 2023.

After a successful debut in the UK, the gin is now available in the US, reaching over 40 states.

Last October, Emma was seen in person at her matriculation ceremony at the University of Oxford, after enrolling on an MA in Creative Writing.

The star appeared at the city’s Sheldonian Theater at a meeting celebrating the official admission of students to the university.

The other students were delighted to see Emma at the event, where she wore a black gown, white blouse and black ribbon, just like the other women present.

In an interview with Daily Mail diary editor Richard Eden, one student joked: “It’s the first time I’ve seen her in a dress since the Harry Potter films.”

Emma’s plans to study creative writing were revealed in an interview with the Financial Times in April 2023, which stated that she had started writing poetry during lockdown, as well as essays about love, friendship and relationships.

Further details were revealed last month by The Sun, which reported that her studies would be part-time and mainly online.

She is scheduled to attend “a few” lectures on site, and staff have reportedly said she will be in attendance with a small security team.

A source told The Sun: “The course is designed for older people and can be done part-time, which fits Emma’s schedule perfectly.

“He only needs to be on site four or five days a year because he can do the rest of the course online from home.

“Since she is a famous actress, she will have security who will look after her whenever she has classes.

“There have been several incidents recently and she is taking all necessary precautions to ensure her safety.”
