Effizency launches an online simulator presenting a photovoltaic installation, heat pump prices, savings – pv International magazine

Portuguese company Effizency, developer of sales software for providers of photovoltaic and heat pump solutions, has launched a new online simulator module that customers can use to provide potential buyers with initial price offers and savings estimates.

Effizency, the Portuguese developer of software that increases sales efficiency for providers of photovoltaics and heat pump solutions, has launched a new online simulator that can be integrated with Effizency’s sales software.

The simulator provides preliminary valuations and savings estimates. “Prospects are automatically entered into Effizency’s sales tool, which streamlines and contextualizes the proposal generation process,” said Francisco Albuquerque, director of business development and delivery at Effizency magazine pw.

The Effizency Sales Platform is a white label software suite typically used by installers, utilities, energy suppliers and sales teams serving the residential, commercial and industrial (C&I) markets. They use Effizency software to create technical designs and generate accurate sales quotes for solar and heat pump projects.

“Our platform stands out in that it offers a comprehensive solution tailored to both energy services in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Unlike other platforms, Effizency covers the entire sales process, lead generation, technical design, offer creation and website survey automation – all in one place,” Albuquerque explained.

Effizency is sold as white-label software, which means customers can adapt it to their own platforms and apply their branding. Its solar module supports planning, custom roof layouts based on slope, orientation and panel types, including automatic roof detection, system sizing and hardware recommendations.

The heat pump module covers project planning, including heat loss sizing, instrumentation, efficiency and savings calculations.

To support pricing and financial modeling, real-time pricing is set at the point of sale, according to the company. Offer types supported include on-site power purchase agreements, local energy communities and so-called energy-as-a-service solutions.

An electric vehicle charging solution is also available to support aspects of the project such as layout, cabling and location of equipment.

Founded in 2019, Effizency is a spinoff of the Portuguese electricity supply company EDP Group. It has 4,000 active users and customers in 12 countries.
