India is gearing up to become an AI powerhouse as the data center giant promises a $3.2 billion investment to expand capacity by 550 MW by 2030.

India’s digital economy is growing at an unprecedented pace, driven by rising data consumption, cloud adoption and digital transformation, leading to an increase in demand for reliable and scalable data center facilities.

The rise of artificial intelligence is also increasing this need and to meet this demand, ST Telemedia Global Data Centers (STT GDC) is investing $3.2 billion (INR 26,000 crores) to expand its data centers in India with a staggering capacity of 550 MW over the next five , six years.
