Frisco-based cloud communications company TeleCloud acquired by Austin’s Davenforth » Dallas innovates

Frisco-based TeleCloud and Pennsylvania-based Third Generation have been acquired by Austin-based joint family office Davenforth as the acquisitions launch a new managed IT, voice and networking platform.

Terms of the acquisitions were not disclosed.

As a result of these acquisitions, Davenforth said its platform will serve 21,500 users across 900 companies. Davenforth said the companies will maintain independent operations and the existing management teams of both companies will remain in place to ensure continuity and maintain the distinctive strengths of each organization.

“We are excited to work with Davenforth as we scale TeleCloud to new heights,” TeleCloud founder Rusty Bridges said in a statement. “This partnership marks a significant milestone, allowing us to enhance our service offerings and enable our team members to reach new heights. We deeply appreciate Davenforth’s support and commitment and look forward to the transformative impact this partnership will bring.”

Davenforth said his approach is focused on building a unique platform of companies that provide cloud communications, connectivity and managed services to small, medium and enterprise customers. This group of companies has been found to be committed to providing exceptional customer service, maintaining high retention rates and remaining at the forefront of the industry.

Michael Ray, CEO of Third Generation, said in a statement that he is excited to partner with Davenforth “to invest in growth while providing the white-glove support we have been known for over our 40-year history. Our team is very capable and our products are excellent, so we are excited to bring the third-generation experience to more customers through this partnership with Davenforth.”

Davenforth’s founders said the acquisition was a good fit for the company.

“We couldn’t be happier to be the new owners of TeleCloud and the third generation,” founders Logan Brown and Bradley Roofner said in a joint statement. “We immediately saw that our experience was a good fit for high retention, recurring revenue companies with excellent teams. We are honored to lead these two high-quality enterprises and look forward to continuing their legacy while taking them to the next level.

TeleCloud was founded in 2007 and is a cloud communications and connectivity provider serving the South Central and West Coast regions. It specializes in cloud communications services with network deployment and provides a wide range of carrier-grade solutions to a wide customer base.
