A Fortune 250 company partners with a Lincoln car dealership

Lincoln BMW/Mini’s Soper has been acquired by Group 1 Automotive UK, a Fortune 250 car retailer.

Howes Percival’s automotive sector team advised on the acquisition.

The team also advised the Glyn Hopkin Group on its sale to the Employee Ownership Trust (EOT).

It worked with dealer groups Steven Eagell, Listers and FRF to acquire Motorline’s network of 19 Toyota and Lexus dealers.

The Howes Percival team, led by corporate partner and head of automotive Tom Redman, included lawyers specializing in corporate, banking, property, employment, commercial, intellectual property, GDPR, regulatory, immigration and governance, with significant input from Ben Hancox , Bradley Johnson , Faye Meredith and others.
