“Will we ever know what really happened?” Peacock has released a trailer for a series titled Lockerbie: a search for the truthwhich will air on Peacock in the US and UK in early January 2025. Created by Sky TV and Carnival Films, this series is a look at one of the worst terrorist disasters in UK history. Many may remember it. On December 21, 1988, Pan Am Flight 103 exploded over the Scottish town of Lockerbie, 38 minutes after takeoff, killing 259 people on board and 11 on the ground. Dr. Jim Swire loses his daughter Flora. “We’ve been following the remarkable story of Jim Swire for decades… Part a deeply moving story of love and loss, this drama is as much an investigative political thriller that shows how an ordinary man with determination unstoppable can confront governments and world leaders in search of the truth.
