The Service Company Announces Acquisition in Ohio

The service company has acquired Ohio-based Brake Spring Alignment (BSA), expanding its independent parts and service business.

The renowned company, which has been in operation for more than three decades in Springfield, Ohio, is expanding The Service Company’s geographic reach east toward Columbus and strengthening its presence in the larger market of Dayton, Ohio, the company says.

“BSA of Ohio, known for its loyal customer base and comprehensive offering of parts and services, is part of The Service Company’s commitment to serving Ohio’s trucking industry,” said Luke Todd, president of The Service Company. “This acquisition increases our capacity with 40 bays now available, providing unrivaled service in the market.”

With the addition of BSA in Ohio, The Service Company now offers four locations, providing coverage from Greenville to Springfield. Additionally, it also expands the company’s service portfolio to complement its existing truck and heavy equipment repair solutions. In addition to diesel, EGR and DPF, exhaust, HVAC, transmission, clutch and drivetrain services, the new Springfield location brings services for frame drop, steering suspension, brakes and wheel-side solutions, the company says .
