Accenture appoints specialist Angie Park as its new CFO

(Reuters) – Accenture said on Tuesday that Angie Park, currently head of its business and commercial finance division, will become the company’s chief financial officer on Dec. 1, replacing KC McClure.

Park, who has been with Accenture for nearly 30 years, previously served as CFO of an IT services provider in Accenture’s Technology Services and Investor Relations practice.

Accenture also announced other internal appointments, including Chief Technology Officer Karthik Narain, who will assume the additional role of chief technology officer on September 1.

The company lowered its revenue forecast for fiscal year 2024 in March as economic uncertainty prompts clients to limit spending on advisory services, expecting revenue growth in the range of 1% to 3%, down from its earlier forecast of 2% to 5% growth.

Accenture’s new bookings, a key indicator of future revenue, fell 2% to $21.58 billion in the second quarter, while its Communications, Media and Technology segment revenue declined 8% year-over-year.
