The sister of a missing North Yorkshire mother has shared a moving message fourteen days after she disappeared, leaving no clues to her whereabouts. Victoria Taylor, 34, was last seen at her Malton residence around 9am on Monday September 30.

Around two hours later, at around 11.35am, she appeared on CCTV at the M&S station in the BP garage on Welham Road, Norton, buying “bottles of soft drink”. The last confirmed sighting of Victoria was captured on CCTV at 11.53am at Malton bus station on Railway Street as she walked towards a local park.

His outfit included a black Adidas down jacket with striped sides, blue jeans, a camouflage cap and a pink/salmon colored Vans backpack, reports Yorkshire Live.

The following day, some personal items belonging to Victoria were found by family members who were searching along a footpath beside the River Derwent, leading to extensive search operations along the riverbank by North Yorkshire Police. The local community rallied to help with the search, via the Facebook group “The search for Victoria Taylor” created by Charlotte Cundill, a friend.

On October 14, Helen Moran, Victoria’s sister, provided a poignant update on social media, along with a heartfelt expression of gratitude to the admirable “little person” who is helping with the search efforts.

Alongside a photo of a missing person poster drawn by a child, Moran’s post read: “As we approach the end of the 14th day of searching, unfortunately we still have no updates to share .The endless support is amazing, you are all amazing.

“To the little person(s) in Norton who spent their Sunday making posters and putting them on doors, you are an inspiration. And we thank you all so much.

“As we enter week three, all we can do is pray, hope and have faith in our police force and volunteers that we can get Vixx Anne back soon.”

Her post came hours after Charlotte also posted an update, reflecting on the days “full of fear, hope, screaming, rain.” She wrote: “Day 14, with over 10,000 people here, I can definitely say I’m not speaking for myself. The last 2 weeks have been full of fear, hope, screaming, rain, long sleepless days and nights, so much searching, God knows how many pieces of paper, love, kindness and total community spirit in the search to find you, it completely breaks my heart to say it, but, so “We’re heading into week three and there’s only so much we can do without going professional.”

Speaking directly to her friend, she said: “As friends, family and community we will not give up on you. With all the love in our hearts vixx WE WILL BRING YOU HOME” “Thank you for everything that you continue to do.

“The Derwent Arms still provides a warm, safe space with refreshments for people to continue their searches or put up posters. Please do drop by. There are still people searching and updates are put on the page, so keep your eyes peeled. Stay warm, dry and safe.
