Police have beefed up security outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. Fans are prohibited from standing outside the house and clicking selfies.

The assassination of former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique has sent shock waves across the country. As the murder remains under investigation, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility in a Facebook post. In this context, the security of actor Salman Khan has been increased as the authorities also feel that his life is in danger. A recent report revealed that Galaxy Apartments is under tight security and fans are banned from standing outside its house or clicking selfies.

As reported by the Times Of India, Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment in Bandra has its security reinforced after the death of Baba Siddique. Police officers have been posted outside the actor’s house and fans are not allowed to stop outside his house and click selfies or record videos like they used to do before. Apart from fans, security also revealed that media workers are not allowed to film outside the actor’s house.

The report also mentions that a CCTV camera was installed to track movements outside the building. Following the murder of Baba Siddique, the actor now enjoys Y-plus security. The Mumbai Police assigned an escort vehicle to follow Khan’s car and a Special Reserve Police Force (SRPF) was stationed on duty outside his house and the Panvel farmhouse.

Earlier reports mentioned that Khan canceled all meetings and asked his Bollywood colleagues not to meet him for a few days. After the death of the political leader, celebrities like Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra, among others, visited Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai to visit the family.

The police arrested two out of three attackers. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde confirmed that the two attackers are from Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, while the third is on the run.
