RBI Class B Notification 2024, Eligibility, Application Fee, Selection Process

Candidates who wish to be appointed to the Grade B post of the Reserve Bank of India must know that the application form will be available on the official website at https://rbi.org.in/. Candidates must know that to apply online, the link will remain active on the official website for four weeks.

While the RBI is yet to officially announce the date of publication of the vacancy notice for Category B posts, candidates must know that the application form will be available online. To apply, an individual will need to provide the required information, upload documents and pay an application fee.

RBI Class B Recruitment 2024

The Reserve Bank of India is expected to release the Grade B recruitment notification in June 2024. Candidates can apply online through the official website https://rbi.org.in/ during the active four-week window. It is expected that the application will be possible in June 2024 and the examination will take place in July 2024.

2024 RBI Class B Vacancy

The number of vacancies for Grade B posts is not yet officially revealed by the RBI, every person who is eagerly waiting for the announcement to be published must know that the details about the number of posts for General, Other Backward Class, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes etc. will be available on the same level.

RBI Class B Eligibility Criteria 2024

To apply online for Grade B posts in the Reserve Bank of India, a person must have obtained a bachelor’s degree from a UGC recognized institution and his age must not be less than 21 and more than 30 years as if it were the cut-off date. The upper age will be relaxed for OBC and SC/ST for 3 and 5 years respectively.

RBI Class B Application Fee 2024

To apply online for Class B recruitment under the Reserve Bank of India, a person belonging to General, Other Backward Class or Economically Weaker Section will have to pay an application fee of ₹850 and those belonging to Scheduled Tribes/Castes will have to pay ₹100 only.

RBI selection process for Class B 2024

The selection process for Grade B post in Reserve Bank of India consists of three stages which are Preliminary, Mains and Interview.

Eliminations:

  • Mode: Online
  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Sections:
    • Reasoning
    • General awareness
    • English
    • Quantitative effectiveness
  • Total ratings: 200
  • Marking scheme: Negative marking of 1/4 of the points assigned to a question for incorrect answers.
  • Maximum number of attempts: 6 in the general category; no attempt restrictions for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.

Electrical network:

General Posts (DR):

  • Article 1 – Economic and Social Issues:
    • Objective test 50% (30 objective questions)
    • 50% Descriptive test (6 descriptive questions, 4 to answer)
    • Total marks: 100 (50 for each section)
    • Duration: 90 minutes for goal, 90 minutes for description
  • Part 2 – English (Writing Skills):
    • Descriptive sample
    • Total ratings: 100
    • Duration: 90 minutes
  • Article 3 – Finance and management:
    • Objective test 50% (30 objective questions)
    • 50% Descriptive test (6 descriptive questions, 4 to answer)
    • Total marks: 100 (50 for each section)
    • Duration: 120 minutes

DEPR and DSIM posts:

  • Article 1 – Economic and Social Issues:
    • Objective test 50% (30 objective questions)
    • 50% Descriptive test (6 descriptive questions, 4 to answer)
    • Total marks: 100 (50 for each section)
    • Duration: 90 minutes for goal, 90 minutes for description
  • Part 2 – English (Writing Skills):

  • Article 3 – Statistics:
    • Objective test 50% (30 objective questions)
    • 50% Descriptive test (6 descriptive questions, 4 to answer)

Interview:

  • It will be 75 marks.
  • Psychometric test conducted before the interview (no marks are awarded, it is not part of the final selection criteria).
  • This will be the choice that wants to appear in the final stage of the selection process in Hindi or English.
