Ohio cell phone repairman charged with stealing nude photos from devices. He was charged with 40 charges

An Ohio man who worked at a cellphone repair company has been charged with stealing nude photos from customers’ phones.

Calvin Jordan, 27, of Gallipolis, was arraigned this week on 36 counts of unauthorized use of property, three counts of pandering involving minors and one count of unlawful use of a minor in nude material.

Jordan was employed by Direct Computing Solutions in Gallipolis and took over customers’ mobile devices for repairs. From December 2021 to April 2022, he allegedly downloaded nude and intimate photos from his clients’ phones.

According to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, an investigation revealed that more than 40 people, including minors between the ages of 14 and 17, had their photos stolen.
