Paige and Piper’s lemonade stand raises $12,000 for CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Cancer Center

ALEXANDRIA, Louisiana (KALB) – According to the Rapides Parish School Board, two girls from Caroline Dormon High School raised $12,000 through their lemonade stand to support cancer patients.

You’ve probably heard of Paige and Piper’s Lemonade Stand, a small business with a simple goal: to help those battling cancer and give back to the community.

Their company’s daughters’ donation to CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini will be used to support cancer patients and purchase supplies to improve care and treatment.

“These incredible fundraising efforts are funding new equipment for women’s breast care, a fund for gas cards for patient transportation, and nutritional supplements for patients,” said Monte Wilson, CEO of CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

“Seeing our girls being inspired and empowered motivates them to achieve more and become mission-minded servants,” said Lacie LaCaze, Paige and Piper’s mother. “As a mother, I am grateful to see others mentoring our children and raising the next generation to achieve great things. »

“Paige and Piper inspire all of us to do more: continue working for a better future and make our community better,” said Superintendent Jeff Powell. “Their dedication reminds us all of the difference we can make, whatever our age. »
