ITech Homes and Properties welcomes Dr. Abiso Kabir as its new Non-Executive Director

In a strategic move to strengthen its leadership, ITech Homes and Properties has announced the appointment of Dr. Abiso Kabir as a Non-Executive Director.

Dr. Kabir, a respected entrepreneur and economist, brings extensive experience to the company. As Chairman of the Wal-Wanne Group, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership in promoting economic diversification and youth empowerment in Nigeria. His efforts were instrumental in moving the Nigerian economy away from dependence on oil and towards agricultural development.

Dr. Kabir oversees extensive rice cultivation in northern Nigeria, including Yobe, Bauchi, Gombe, Adamawa, Jigawa, Plateau and Kaduna states. Thanks to his initiatives, over 13,000 young people found employment in the region. Despite challenges such as the insurgency in northeastern Nigeria, Dr. Kabir’s mechanized farming projects continue to thrive.

Dr. Kabir’s credentials are impressive. He holds a PhD in Business Management from Ballsbridge University and is a Fellow of various chartered institutions both in Nigeria and abroad. He has served on several committees and participated in numerous national and international seminars and workshops. Equally commendable are his philanthropic efforts, particularly through the Walwanne Foundation, which supports internally displaced persons (IDPs) in northern Nigeria.

Industry stakeholders welcomed this appointment, recognizing Dr. Kabir’s experience and expertise as a significant asset to ITech Homes and Properties. The Board is confident that Dr. Kabir’s diverse background and significant experience will provide invaluable insights, driving the company’s growth and strengthening its commitment to excellence.
