Louis Vuitton appoints Megan Grant as new head of the Americas

Louis Vuitton has named Megan Grant president and CEO of the Americas, effective June 3.

Grant will report to David Ponzo, executive vice president of commercial operations, and will be based in New York, according to a memo cited by WWD. According to the memo, she will be responsible for leading and developing teams in the Americas to drive efficiencies, further enhance the customer experience and expand brand appeal in the Americas.

She will replace Lanessa Elrod, who served as the brand’s president in the Americas for seven years.

Grant, a luxury beauty veteran, joins the French fashion house from fellow French company L’Oréal, where she headed the cosmetics giant’s U.S. luxury division

Previously, the director held management positions at Lancôme, Kiehl’s, Ralph Lauren Fragrances and Giorgio Armani cosmetics, among others.
