ABL Group finalizes acquisition of Ross Offshore

Global consulting company ABL Group has finalized the acquisition of 100% of the shares of specialist energy consulting company Ross Offshore, which will now merge with AGR Group ABL.

The combination of AGR and Ross Offshore will further strengthen the group’s center of technical excellence in drilling, reservoirs and marine and research management.

Ross Offshore’s inclusion in AGR will enhance its expertise in oil and gas management, marine management and research, and energy transition projects, including offshore wind, CCS and geothermal drilling.

Based in Stavanger, Norway, Ross Offshore employs over 220 experts working on its clients’ projects. As a result of the merger with AGR, the united team now consists of over 500 professionals.

In the future, Ross Offshore will operate under the AGR brand.
