Uruguay’s agency blocks Minerva-Marfrig agreement in historic ruling

Two Uruguayan cattle producers’ associations have called on Posadas to obtain a historic rejection from the local competition authority over Minerva’s acquisition of three local meatpacking plants from another Brazilian company, Marfrig.
