Stanbic IBTC announces new appointments in HoldCo

Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC, a member of the Standard Bank Group, has announced appointments to the management boards of the entire Group.
The appointments reflect the Group’s commitment to strengthening its leadership teams and driving continued growth and innovation in the financial services sector.

Ndidi Nwuneli, a successful businesswoman and social entrepreneur, has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of Stanbic IBTC Holdings. With extensive experience and a deep understanding of business development and sustainability, Nwuneli will bring invaluable insights to the Board’s strategic decision-making processes.

Yinka Sanni also joined the Management Board of the Holding Company as a non-executive director.

Sanni brings extensive experience in the financial services industry and extensive leadership experience. His solid industry experience and strategic insight will be instrumental in shaping the company’s growth trajectory. In addition to this role, Yinka will serve as a non-executive director of Stanbic IBTC Bank.

Funeka Montjane has been appointed as a non-executive director of Stanbic IBTC Bank. Her extensive expertise in banking and financial services in Africa and beyond will be instrumental in achieving the Bank’s strategic objectives and ensuring its continued success.

Efe Omoduemuke has joined the board of Stanbic IBTC Asset Management as Executive Director. With his extensive knowledge of investment management and risk management, Omoduemuke will play a key role in driving the next phase of growth and development of the asset management business.
