Something big is being built in Copenhagen

World of Digital Transformation, Copenhagen, Denmark – Is this a wireless program? Is this a cloud show? Who knows! Either way, we’re happy here and ready to bring you all the news from TM Forum’s DTW Ignite event in Copenhagen.

Wait, you ask, is Copenhagen the one with the canals? Well, you’re probably thinking of Amsterdam, but yes, in a way. In the center of the old town is the canal and that wonderful old world charm that we Americans are so crazy about. Makes getting lost on a rental bike a lot more enjoyable when you end up in an area like Nyhavn. Not that we knew that from experience or anything.

Copenhagen, my Copenhagen!

But apart from its charm, Copenhagen is also home to Vikings, LEGO bricks, licorice and the Little Mermaid. This week in particular will also feature TM Forum’s DTW Ignite event, which is… something between a wireless show and a cloud show… we think. The sponsor list doesn’t really make it clear, but if the event program and our meetup line-up are any indication, we’ve come to the right place.

We expect to hear a lot about 5G (and maybe even 6G!), artificial intelligence (AI), automation, network virtualization, open RAN and much more. We won’t just bring you news from the panel sessions; we have a packed schedule packed with all the key executive interviews worth reading.

But it all starts today (Tuesday, June 18). Monday was full of food, views and lots of sunshine.
