Adin Ross claims Dr Disrespect ‘lied’ about not wanting Kick deal

Adin Ross accused Dr. Disrespect of “lying” about not wanting to have his streams on KICK, claiming that Two-Time had a deal with them.

Since being banned by Twitch in 2020, Dr Disrespect has taken up residence on YouTube. The Two-Time, who was reportedly banned from the Amazon-owned platform due to inappropriate posts with minors, has also since had his YouTube demonetized.

When KICK started, Doc suggested he would be open to a move. However, it wasn’t going to be cheap. He demanded at least $50 million to move to the Stake-backed platform and revealed he was in talks with them.

In early October, KICK CEO Ed Craven claimed that it would also be a “waste of money” to bring the Doc to his platform. The streamer responded by saying he wouldn’t take his community to KICK anyway and would “retire” before doing so.

Well, now Adin Ross has weighed in, with the KICK star accusing Dr Disrespect of “lying” about not wanting to make a move.

“Actually, that’s not true. I’m not going to guarantee who, but someone who has equity in KICK, I can guarantee that he was in serious conversation with Dr. Disrespect about coming to KICK,” Adin said.

“He wanted too much money and that’s why he was turned down.” Dr. Disrespect, don’t lie to people. You were trying to come to KICK. You were having a conversation with you know who and you were going to come but you weren’t offered as much money as you wanted.

Even though KICK spent money early on to keep streamers away from Twitch, it has slowed down.

Craven also refuted claims that “Hawk Tuah’s” daughter Hailey Welch signed a $5 million deal with them. “Kick hasn’t done any new deals in a while,” the CEO said.
