Stock Market Sectors: Stock Market Update: FMCG stocks fall as market falls

NEW DELHI: FMCG stocks were trading lower at 10:59 am on Wednesday

Mrs. Bectors Food Specialties Ltd. (up 1.15%), Tasty Bite Eatables Ltd. (up 1.01%), Hatsun Agro Products Ltd. (up 0.69%), Dangee Dums Ltd. (up 0 .62%), Honasa Consumer Ltd. (The largest gains included JHS Svendgaard Laboratories Ltd. (increase by 0.62%) and JHS Svendgaard Laboratories Ltd. (increase by 0.24%).

Nakoda Group Of Industries Ltd. (down 2.80%), Emami Ltd. (down 2.51%), Heritage Foods Ltd. (down 2.33%), Dodla Dairy Ltd. (down 2.18 %), Vadilal Industries Ltd. (down 2.08%), Umang Dairies Ltd. (down 1.94%), Bajaj Consumer Care Ltd. (down 1.91%), Gillette India Ltd. (down 1.67%), Patanjali Foods Ltd. (down 1.50%) and Parag Milk Foods Ltd. (down 1.38%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index fell 48.66 points to 23,509.25, while the 30-share BSE Sensex fell 19.02 points to 77,282.12 at around 10:59 am.

IndusInd Bank Ltd. (up 2.16%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (up 2.0%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (up 1.29%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (up 1.1 %), Axis Bank Ltd. (up 0.97%), Infosys Ltd. (up 0.33%) and State Bank of India (up 0.25%) were among the top gainers in Nifty package. Meanwhile, Titan Company Ltd. (down by 2.71%), Adani Enterprises Ltd. (down by 1.93%), LTIMindtree Ltd. (down by 1.91%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (down by 1, 8%), Coal India Ltd. (down 1.79%), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (down 1.64%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (down 1.58%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. ( down 1.52%), Shriram Finance Ltd. (down 1.51%) and Bajaj Auto Ltd. (down 1.3%) were trading in the red.
