Link to authentic brands and Cart.com in e-commerce operations

Brand development, marketing and entertainment platform Authentic Brands Group has entered into cooperation with trade and logistics solutions provider Cart.com.

Cart.com will provide scalable, omnichannel customer service and commerce services for parts of Authentic’s e-commerce brand portfolio.

The customer engagement solution includes inbound and outbound telesales, as well as multi-channel support via text, email, phone, live chat and social media.

Registration reseller Cart.com manages the complexity of online payments throughout the order lifecycle. The company supports fee and sales tax collection, compliance with consumer and data regulations, chargeback management and fraud prevention, simplifying payment infrastructure and reconciliation for retailers.

The company currently handles more than $8 billion in gross merchandise value and operates 14 omnichannel facilities nationwide totaling more than 8.5 million square feet.

Cart.com CEO and Founder Omair Tariq stated: “The partnership is a significant opportunity to leverage our technology and operational expertise to support Authentic’s momentum and deliver growth and value.”

Authentic’s Chief Digital Officer, Adam Kronengold, added: “The Cart.com platform and its ability to scale quickly to meet the evolving needs of brands competing in the complex e-commerce landscape make it an ideal partner as we continue to look for ways to grow and innovations.”

Authentic brands are present in retail sales in 150 countries, including in over 13,000 free-standing and shop-in-shop stores and 400,000 points of sale.

These include Ted Baker, Juicy Couture, Forever 21 and most recently Champion, which the company acquired from HanesBrands.
