ACB Earnings: Aurora Cannabis reports narrower fourth-quarter loss on higher revenue

Aurora Cannabis, Inc. (NASDAQ: ACB) on Thursday reported a net loss for the fourth quarter of 2024. The company’s revenue rose 5% year-over-year in the quarter.

The Canadian recreational marijuana company reported a net loss from continuing operations of C$20.8 million for the fourth quarter, compared with a loss of C$76.2 million in the prior-year period. Three-month adjusted EBITDA was C$1.89 million, down 5% from the prior-year quarter. Total revenue increased 5% annually to C$67.4 million in the fourth quarter.

“Aurora is the largest global medical marijuana company in legal domestic markets, and our leadership is best distinguished by meeting the diverse needs of patients around the world. In Q4 2024, global medical marijuana net revenues1 increased by 20% year-on-year, driven by the recent acquisition of MedReleaf Australia, where we saw significant growth with higher sales in Poland and the UK,” said Miguel Martin, CEO of Aurora.
