The CTIF Executive Committee is expanding with new appointments

New nominations announced at the CTIF Delegates Assembly

The CTIF Executive Committee met in Oslo on June 20, 2024 to establish a new Executive Committee.

According to CTIF, a new vice president and a new treasurer were elected during this meeting.

The number of Vice-Presidents on the Executive Committee has now increased from seven to eight following the official vote at the 2023 Vienna Delegates Assembly.

The newly elected members of the Executive Committee are Tom Van Esbroeck from Belgium, who will take over as the new treasurer from January 2025.

The meeting in Oslo is the first physical meeting of the Executive Committee since the pandemic, with previous meetings held online since 2019.

Regular meetings of the CTIF Executive Committee

The CTIF Executive Committee meets physically at least twice a year to oversee CTIF’s ongoing projects, activities and committee work.

These meetings also serve to prepare proposals for submission to the Assembly of Delegates.

In addition to its twice-yearly physical meetings, the committee has been organizing monthly videoconferences since 2019.

During the 2020-2021 pandemic, all committee meetings were held virtually.

The move to frequent online meetings has enabled the committee to maintain regular communication and oversight of ongoing projects despite restrictions.
