Elon Musk could ban Apple devices from all his companies

The tech giant’s AI integration will be called “Apple Intelligence.”

Elon Musk has warned that he may ban the use of Apple devices at all his companies. The warning comes after the tech giant announced plans to integrate artificial intelligence into its operating software.

The warning comes after Apple announced plans to integrate ChatGPT into its operating systems during this year’s Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) held recently. The tech giant even changed the name of its AI integration, calling it “Apple Intelligence.”

Reports say Musk, who runs multiple companies including Tesla, SpaceX and X (formerly Twitter), has slammed Apple for having “no clue” about AI data privacy, making its devices a threat to security of his companies.

Tesla’s CEO expressed his complaint on social media, stating: “It’s patently absurd that Apple isn’t smart enough to create its own AI and yet is able to ensure that OpenAI will protect your security and privacy!” He further added: “Apple has no idea what actually happens when they hand over your data to OpenAI. They sell you out over time.”

Later, in a separate post, Musk stated: “If Apple integrates OpenAI at the OS level, Apple devices will be banned from my companies. This is an unacceptable security breach. Guests will be required to check their Apple devices at the door, where they will be stored in a Faraday cage.”

Musk even responded to a post by Apple CEO Tim Cook in which he commented, “Either stop this terrifying spyware or all Apple devices will be removed from my corporate headquarters.”
