Government schools implement ‘no bag’ policy for children in Islamabad

The federal government has introduced a new student-friendly ‘no bag’ policy in primary schools in Islamabad.

This new initiative will start on August 1 and children will no longer have to bring school bags to school.

Under the new policy, students will be provided with lockers in their classrooms to store textbooks and other school materials.

This is intended to reduce the burden on young students of carrying heavy school bags.
