Former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina faces an arrest warrant during her trial for the July-August 1975 genocide.

An arrest warrant has been issued for former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as the trial begins for the July-August genocide linked to the anti-discrimination student movement. The court ordered Hasina to appear before the court by November 18.

Reports indicate that the prosecution intends to seek arrest warrants for a total of 50 people, including Hasina, in connection with the alleged atrocities carried out during this period.
