Man arrested after traffic stop, search warrant leads to discovery of inhalants

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man was arrested after a traffic stop gave police probable cause for a search warrant, according to the Hendersonville Police Department.

Police said the search warrant was executed Saturday at the New Shackle Island Market and Smoke Shop on New Shackle Island Road.

The search produced marijuana and several containers of “Galaxy Gas”. CNN reports that the Galaxy Gas is “a whipped cream charger is a stainless steel canister filled with nitrous oxide that, when dispensing, helps cream and other ingredients turn into a whipped state, according to the business. »

Omar Alazab, 25, was charged with possession with intent to sell/distribute Schedule VI, gas inhalants and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.

HPD said more charges are pending as they have received several complaints and tips regarding illegal activities similar to this one.
