PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) – Police say 13-year-old Sandra Mendoza was found safe after being kidnapped from a stolen car in Pueblo.

An AMBER Alert was issued for Sandra Mendoza, 13, out of Pueblo Wednesday evening after authorities said she was in a vehicle when it was stolen.

Shortly before 8:45 p.m., Pueblo authorities said the stolen vehicle had been found, but a teenager was still missing and the suspect was still at large following a vehicle theft in Pueblo.

The teen was described as a Hispanic female, 5 feet tall and 100 pounds, with hazel eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans.

At 6:44 p.m., Pueblo police reported the truck was stolen and the teen was inside the truck.
