UIB Asia announces new appointments

UIB Asia has appointed Mr. Richard Oh as Senior Executive Director (Head of Maritime and Optional Contracts), Ms. Rita Au as Senior Director (Brokerage Support), Mr. Saw Tong Nee as Executive Director and Head of Optional and Specialized and Ms. Tam Hui Von as a brokerage director in the optional and specialist department.

Mr. Oh brings 19 years of experience in the (re)insurance industry, specializing in marine reinsurance brokerage. He brings knowledge of the maritime industry, including brokerage operations and compliance issues. He also has experience in shipping and underwriting.

In his new position, Mr. Oh will work closely with Mr. Francis Savari, CEO of UIB Asia, on strategic, business and operational matters.

Ms. Au brings over 20 years of experience in both the banking and insurance sectors. Most recently, she collaborated with Marsh Singapore.

In his new position, Mr. Saw will be responsible for all aspects of UIB Asia’s elective and specialist studies business, as well as developing the business and market brand going forward.

Ms. Tam has experience in both the banking, insurance and maritime sectors. She started her career in 2015.
