Steadfast Group announces new appointments

Steadfast Group (Steadfast) has appointed Mr Nick Cook as Executive General Manager, Australian Networks, Broking and Insurance Services; Mark Senkevics as Executive Chief Executive Officer – Insurance Agencies, Alternative Risk Transfers (ART), Reinsurance and Life, from July 1, 2024 and Ms. Meagan Jeffery as Executive Chief Executive Officer – Technology and Information, from July 8, 2024.

In his new role, Mr Cook will combine Steadfast’s broker network and insurer strategies in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. He has been associated with Steadfast since 2015.

In his new position, Mr. Senkevics will be responsible for managing Steadfast’s general agent strategy. He will also assume responsibility for ART’s businesses and support the development of its claims, reinsurance and life insurance business lines.

Mr Senkevics has over 25 years of experience in the reinsurance industry and has worked with Swiss Re and ANZ. He has served on the boards and committees of the Insurance Council of Australia, the Financial Services Council and the Retja Advisory Board.

In her new role, Ms. Jeffery will enhance the structure and management of Steadfast’s cyber and IT architecture and implement various transformation projects to ensure greater consistency across the company.

Ms. Jeffery has extensive experience in executive management and business opportunities. Her extensive industry experience includes investment banking, super funds, insurance, energy, federal and state government, and recruitment. Most recently, she worked at Talent International as Global Chief Information Officer and at Insurance Brands Australia as a Non-Executive Director. She succeeds Mr. Krzysztof Rouse.
