NI Weather: Disruption possible amid yellow wind warning

Strong winds, combined with high tides, could lead to hazardous conditions, including travel delays or cancellations.

The Met Office is warning of possible power outages, minor damage to buildings and large coastal waves bringing debris to roads and coastal properties.

Very strong winds are forecast across Ireland and parts of Great Britain, particularly Scotland.

If stormy weather persists in the coming days, further warnings may be issued.

The first storm of the season, Ashley, could also be named if warnings above yellow are issued before then.
